Brainspace - 7.0 Release Notes

Release Notes - Version 7.0 GA (Release Date: 05/07/2024)

With Brainspace 7.0, the Brainspace platform transitions from a specific Linux distribution (CentOS) to Docker containers—a modern deployment framework that is agnostic to any specific Linux distribution.

CentOS reaches its end of life (EOL) on June 30, 2024. It will continue to run but no longer receive updates and security patches. However, Reveal will continue to support Brainspace 6.8.x. Upgrading and migrating data from older versions of Brainspace is recommended and should be a smooth process using provided installation scripts.

In addition to containerization, Brainspace 7.0 also includes new administrative upgrades and user experience improvements.
